The Rings of Power Season 3 Adds 3 New Cast Members
In the lineup for season three of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” we have three fresh faces joining the team. One of these actors will be a mainstay in the series, while the remaining two will make regular appearances.
In the upcoming third season of “The Rings of Power,” Andrew Richardson, a theater veteran known for performances in plays such as “Guys & Dolls,” “Uncle Vanya,” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” will be joining the main cast. It remains to be seen what character he might portray given his diverse background; could it be Durin’s enigmatic dwarven brother?
In the upcoming season three of “The Rings of Power,” Zubin Varla and Adam Young have been added to the cast in recurring roles. Varla boasts an impressive background in theater, while Young is recognized for his role as Jim-Bob in the horror film “Don’t Breathe 2.” As for Varla, we can’t say yet if he brings elven or Sauron energy to the show; however, Young seems to possess a vibe that resembles either an elf or Sauron. We’ll have to wait and see exactly what their characters will be like.

In conversation with TopMob, the makers of the series added, “Sauron requires Celebrimbor’s skills to forge the Rings. Sauron can’t create them by himself. It wouldn’t be fair if Sauron suddenly gained the ability to make a Ring. He’s on a journey of craftsmanship, and with Celebrimbor no longer around, having to create a Ring presents an intriguing challenge for him.
The central theme for season three is undoubtedly going to be at the heart of the story. However, it remains uncertain whether the fresh faces in the cast of “The Rings of Power” season three will aid or complicate matters for Sauron. Time will tell when the show resumes.
