2025’s Gamescom event is shaping up and Japanese game developer Capcom is adding a significant boost to this year’s display: Capcom will be presenting two much-awaited games at the event, allowing attendees to test out Resident Evil Requiem and Onimusha: Sword’s Path.
Approximately 950 square meters at Koelnmesse will be allocated to Capcom, enabling them to establish nearly 100 demonstration stations. These stations will offer eager fans the opportunity to experience two upcoming games ahead of their 2026 releases for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that Capcom has promised more games in store for us, although they haven’t fully revealed the whole roster yet. For those who can’t make it to the exciting action happening in Cologne, there will be a live streaming program straight from the showfloor. And for those lucky enough to attend the event in person, there’s on-stage entertainment that promises to amplify the fun!
Capcom has joined the ranks of Nintendo, Ubisoft, and Wargaming by officially announcing its participation at the event happening from August 20 to 24, 2025, in Cologne, Germany.
