Later on, Kyle offers comfort to Claire, reassuring her that her father is robust and will make a full recovery.

At the ranch, Victor and Kyle have a meeting where Kyle’s contract is unexpectedly approved by Victor, but with a stern warning: if Kyle causes harm to Claire, he will be responsible for $5 million and must depart from town immediately.
