Alien: Earth Trailer Unveils Terrifying Encounters with Xenomorphs and Humans

In the Alien series, there have always been two types of terrifying creatures, each causing immense destruction. The first, and probably the most well-known, are the Xenomorphs. However, they’ve claimed so many lives due to the ruthless ambitions of immoral humans. And both parties will return to cause chaos in Noah Hawley’s upcoming FX series, Alien: Earth. The latest trailer for Alien: Earth suggests that humanity will be bringing extraterrestrial monsters to a planet that is already inhabited by humans – our very own Earth.

You can watch it in full below.

If we don’t take immediate action, it may be too late.” The ominous warning echoes in the Alien: Earth trailer. It seems it’s already past that point. Be wary of scientists or executives who wish to manipulate a creature beyond human control—they should have learned from watching an Alien film.

Yeah. Good trailer for Alien: Earth. Real good trailer. The same is true of the show’s new poster.

The trailer for “Alien: Earth” is brimming with innovative concepts (not just because it’s set on our planet) that will give this series a unique flavor compared to its film versions. The narrative kicks off as “the enigmatic deep-space exploration vessel USCSS Maginot experiences a crash-landing on Earth,” which marks the beginning of both excitement and genuine fear.

In addition to the trailer, FX shares Alien: Earth‘s official synopsis:

In the year 2120, Earth is ruled by five powerful corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold. This era, known as the Corporate Age, is home to cyborgs – individuals with both organic and mechanical components – and synthetics – intelligent humanoid robots. However, the rules of this world are redefined when the brilliant Founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation unveils a groundbreaking technological breakthrough: hybrids, or robot beings imbued with human consciousness. The first prototype, named Wendy, signifies a new chapter in the pursuit of eternal life. Tragedy strikes when Weyland-Yutani’s spaceship crashes into Prodigy City, and Wendy and her hybrid counterparts stumble upon alien creatures that are more horrifying than anyone could have ever predicted.

The lead role of “Wendy” is played by Sydney Chandler, while Timothy Olyphant takes on the character of “Kirsh.” We also see Alex Lawther as “Hermit,” Samuel Blenkin as “Boy Kavalier,” Babou Ceesay as “Morrow,” Adrian Edmondson as “Atom Eins,” David Rysdahl as “Arthur Sylvia,” Essie Davis as “Dame Sylvia,” Lily Newmark as “Nibs,” Erana James as “Curly,” Adarsh Gourav as “Slightly,” Jonathan Ajayi as “Smee,” Kit Young as “Tootles,” Dim Camille as “Siberian,” Moe Bar-El as “Rashidi,” and Sandra Yi Sencindiver as “Yutani” in this show.

The extraterrestrial vessel will forcefully touch down on FX and Hulu on August 12, 2025. Here’s hoping that the two titans of terror manage to cross paths, all while ensuring the safety of everyone else involved.
