In the thrilling saga of Tainted Graal: The Fall of Avalon, I found myself embarking on an intriguing side quest known as “Bribe It On.” To win over a particular prison guard, I had to employ some creative persuasion – by generously offering him a scrumptious meal and a refreshing drink.

In Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, while the primary narrative delves into the Arthurian legacy, the game offers more than 200 additional tales. Some of these side stories include smaller sub-quests like ‘Bribe It On’. This specific sub-quest is linked to the ‘Stuck in the Cycle’ main quest, where you aid knight Berach in breaking free from his prison cell. The ‘Stuck in the Cycle’ side mission unfolds at the Cuanacht prison and can be triggered by chatting with Berach down below in the prison area.

To assist him, you must persuade the jailer to grant his freedom. In order to do this, you can begin and finish the “Bribe It On” side quest in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.

Talk to Flann at the Prison

Following your conversation with Berach during the “Stuck in the Cycle” mission, make your way up to where you’ll find Flann, the prison guard. When you enquire about Berach’s release, Flann clarifies that anyone who has transgressed must either pay a fine or serve their sentence in jail.

Bring him Kamelot Delicacy and some Ale, and he will pardon Berach, initiating the Bribe It On side quest.

Prepare Kamelot Delicacy

You have two choices now – either pay Flann 5,000 gold coins or bring him his preferred meal and drinks to free Berach. Selecting the monetary option will instantly conclude the quest. However, if you prefer to save your money, you can prepare the meal yourself instead.

After chatting with Flann, you’ll discover the recipe for Kamelot Delicacy. To make it, you’ll need Honey, Potato, and Venison. You can obtain these ingredients by visiting Ruairc at the kitchen within the Horns of the South fortress. Once there, find the cooking pot behind Ruairc to prepare your Kamelot Delicacy. For the Ale, head to Alwyn in the central district of Lower City, Cuanacht, and buy it from him.

Deliver the Kamelot Delicacy and Ale to Flann

After acquiring Kamelot Delicacy and Ale, make your way back to Flann at the Cuanacht prison. Hand over the food and drink to him, and in return, Flann will grant freedom to Berach, thus completing the Bribe It On side quest.

Later on, make your way down to where Berach is located, then discuss the information regarding his imminent release with him. Inform him that he should depart from the prison and Cuanacht after this chat. Following our conversation, Berach disappears from the cell, signaling the end of the ‘Stuck in the Cycle’ questline.
