Brie Larson recently shared a post on Instagram, fueling further discussions regarding the potential comeback of Captain Marvel in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’.
The actress known for portraying Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has returned to her short blonde hairstyle, reminiscent of her appearance in Avengers: Endgame. Fans have noticed the likeness, particularly since there’s been talk about Larson potentially reprising her role for the upcoming film Doomsday, which is set to be filmed shortly in the UK.
I recently found myself captivated by Larson’s latest hairdo, which seems to have been inspired by her recent trip to Universal’s Epic Universe. There, she struck a pose alongside artwork reminiscent of Captain Marvel, emblazoned with the words “Danvers” and “Avenge.” It’s as if she’s embodying her character even off-screen!

Captain Marvel’s Ship Being Built?
As a movie fan, I’ve got some exciting news! It seems that Larson’s spaceship, famously known as “The Hoopty” from The Marvels, is being built on the Avengers: Doomsday set at Great Windsor Park. This isn’t just any construction work; it hints at a potential reunion of the Marvels trio – Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Lashana Lynch, with Sam Jackson’s Nick Fury also joining in. Interestingly, there are whispers that Lashana Lynch might be back as Maria Rambeau, a character she played in Captain Marvel and The Marvels post-credit scene. This certainly adds fuel to the anticipation for what’s coming next!
In the movie “The Marvels,” The Hoopty made a short appearance. This spaceship, built by the Kree, serves as both transportation and command center for Carol. A LEGO model offered a more detailed look at its design, featuring an orange canopy and sleek, curved form.
If Marvel is refurbishing the ship, it’s evident that Larson, along with Captain Marvel, will be making a comeback in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
All Signs Point Captain Marvel Return
Larson’s latest endeavor was starring in the UK stage production of “Elektra,” and she’ll be visiting the UK again this November for Comic Con Liverpool. Coincidentally, filming for “Doomsday” is about to intensify around that time. Add to that her recent hair makeover and theme park promotional photos, and it’s tough not to speculate that Marvel might have some plans in store for Captain Marvel.
