Tainted Grail Lumbering: Where to gather wood

In Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, acquiring an axe may spark a desire to fell trees right away, but it’s important to note that this isn’t how the game operates. Instead, you’ll need to locate designated wood-gathering spots on the map to collect wood in Tainted Grail. To help you out, we’ll guide you towards some of the easier ones to find!

Where to gather wood

The most convenient place to gather logs is located in the northwest corner of the castle, specifically at the South Horns. There, you’ll spot a large tree stump surrounded by piles of logs. You can utilize your axe to cut down the wood here. However, keep in mind that you can’t chop the logs indefinitely, as they will eventually be depleted. Don’t worry though, if you wait patiently, the logs will replenish over time.

In a more conversational style: You know where to find the easiest stash of logs? It’s up in the northwest corner of the castle, specifically at the South Horns. There, you’ll see a big ol’ tree stump surrounded by piles and piles of logs just waiting to be chopped down with your axe. But remember, you can’t chop them forever, they’ll eventually run out. No worries though, if you take a break for a bit, the logs will come back on their own.

In Tainted Grail, wood is relatively simple to harvest, though it does require some precision. You’ll need to identify the correct location first, and if you’re in need of large quantities, you’ll also have to spend considerable time waiting for it to be ready.
