The popular series “Peacemaker” has returned for another season! At the CCXP Mexico event, a fresh preview for Season 2 was unveiled, with creators James Gunn and John Cena making a special appearance on behalf of the DC Universe.
The backstage video provides an initial glimpse into the upcoming episodes of the DC series, showcasing a fresh appearance of Michael Rooker, with brief hints of recurring characters, exciting action sequences, and lots of turbulence.

Max has set the premiere date for Peacemaker Season 2: Thursday, August 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
In the upcoming season, we delve deeper into Peacemaker’s complex past as he continues his unconventional crusade for peace. Despite often working solo, he now has allies to support him in his endeavors.
Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick will be returning, while we welcome new additions to the cast: Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., reprising his role from previous projects such as “Creature Commandos” and “Superman,” in addition to David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows.
James Gunn penned each of the eight episodes and oversaw directing duties for three, among them the first one. Alongside him as executive producers are Peter Safran and John Cena. In addition to Gunn, directors for this season also include Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Althea Jones.
