How To End Shifting Earth Events In Elden Ring Nightreign

In every new playthrough of Elden Ring Nightreign, you’ll encounter numerous roguelike aspects, ensuring each journey feels unique regardless of your chosen expedition. A significant factor influencing this variation is the occurrence of Shifting Earth events, which can dramatically transform a substantial part of the map between game sessions.

Following the successful completion of the initial journey, players gain access to the first instance of the Shifting Earth mission. As more expeditions are conquered, players will unlock all four instances of the Shifting Earth missions. These Shifting Earth missions can be quite demanding, and if you have a predetermined path for your run, they may disrupt your strategy. It’s worth noting that the bed can be utilized to terminate a Shifting Earth mission before embarking on a new expedition; here’s where you can locate it.

Where To Find The Bed In Elden Ring Nightreign

You can engage with the bed only during a Shifting Earth occurrence, which is visible when interacting with the Roundtable and looking towards the list of expeditions on the right side. To conclude that Shifting Earth event, navigate down the corridor on the right side of the Roundtable Hold, near the character change bell.

To reach your destination, head towards the Memorial Journal on your right, then proceed through the adjacent room towards the back room. Along the wall on your right, you’ll find two beds. You can only engage with the bed that is farther away if you currently have an active Shifting Earth event. Engaging with this bed will advance time and conclusively end the Shifting Earth event.

The concept is hinted at involving the progression of time, but there’s no comprehensive system for tracking or managing time. Instead, it serves a single purpose: to conclude a Shifting Earth event.

Using a bed doesn’t allow for the intentional initiation of Shifting Earth occurrences, since these events are typically spontaneous. It’s important to note that concluding one such event might mean waiting for several expeditions before encountering another. The unique way to induce Shifting Earth events is by choosing a character whose Remembrance quest involves a specific Shifting Earth event and then playing the game with that character. However, advancing this quest line will permanently rule out this method of triggering future events.
