Hunter Schafer Rumored to Play Princess Zelda in Live-Action Zelda Movie

There’s a considerable buzz circulating online suggesting that trans actress Hunter Schafer might be considered for the role of Princess Zelda in Nintendo’s forthcoming live-action Zelda film, which is now under production.

According to trusted insider Daniel RPK, who has been sharing leaked information about the upcoming Marvel “Vision” series on Disney+.

We’ll have to keep an eye on this one to see if it’s actually true.

Hunter Schafer has gained recognition through her roles in the HBO show “Euphoria”, the Hunger Games series, and is set to appear in Amazon’s upcoming “Blade Runner 2099” television series.

The actor has disclosed that his latest US passport labels him as male, even though he indicated and chose female during the application process. He attributes this inconsistency to recent governmental policies enacted under the Trump administration, which limit the selection of gender markers on official documents to those assigned at birth.

About the Zelda Movie

As a passionate cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that the long-awaited live-action adaptation of the legendary “Legend of Zelda” series is now in active development! Nintendo has joined forces with Sony Pictures for this exciting venture, aiming to translate the iconic video game franchise’s magic and charm onto the big screen.

Avi Arad, recognized for his work on the Spider-Man and Uncharted movies produced by Sony, has signed up to produce again. This has set off discussions among fans, who are now pondering possible cast members, with Tom Holland, a longtime fan favorite, being one of the top guesses.

Although it’s common for Link to be depicted as a teenager across various games, it’s been reported that the studios are focusing on younger actors for the role. Walker Scobell, known from “The Adam Project” and “Percy Jackson”, is said to be the type of actor they’re considering.

While no official cast or release date has been announced.
