MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS: RE-IGNITION Updates the Iconic ’90s Series to 4K

Hey there, Millennials! If you’ve been yearning to revisit your childhood memories, now’s your chance to catch up on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers again. Hasbro has introduced an updated version of the original TV series called Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Re-Ignition. The first episode is already streaming on the official Power Rangers YouTube Channel. New episodes will be released every week, two or three at a time, until October 7th. This series is available not just in English, but also in French, German, and Spanish on their respective platforms. You can watch the first episode, titled “Day of the Dumpster,” right here: [YouTube Link]

As a dedicated Power Rangers fan, I’m thrilled to share that Hasbro’s “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Re-Ignition” promises to bring back the iconic journeys of the original Rangers, featuring our beloved villains and epic battles in stunning 4K detail. This autumn, we can add to our collection with Playmates Toys’ action figures, accessories, role-play toys, and collectibles from this line. It reminds me of Mattel’s “Masters of the Universe: Origins,” which offers a nostalgic treat for adult collectors by repackaging vintage-style action figures.

The initial run of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers spanned across three seasons, amassing a total of 145 episodes. Consequently, the high-definition 4K version of the entire series isn’t expected to be completed until October. While subsequent versions of Power Rangers appeared on both television and cinema screens, the original series (aired from 1993-1995) is often considered the most memorable by many fans. In fact, a movie adaptation of this series was released in 1995. If only streaming service Disney+ could follow Hasbro’s lead and remaster other classic Fox Kids shows from the ’90s, such as X-Men: The Animated Series, Spider-Man: The Animated Series, and Gargoyles, then everything would feel perfect to fans like us.
