Is Kim Kardashian a Lawyer Now? Beauty Mogul ‘Finally’ Graduates Law Program After 6 Years

Kim Kardashian is currently experiencing the dream of Elle Woods, as she, the founder of Skims, recently had the opportunity to commemorate a legal milestone with her loved ones.

44-year-old Kardashian completed her law studies after a six-year commitment, making a significant milestone in her pursuit to become an attorney. This week, the famous reality TV figure and entrepreneur celebrated her graduation from California’s Law Office Study Program on May 21st.

On her Instagram Stories, Kardashian gave fans a peek at the private backyard parties she had, where she gleamed in a cap and gown while showing off her certificate of graduation. Normally, this program lasts four years, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and work commitments, Kardashian’s journey took longer than expected.

“I finally graduated law school after six years!!!” she wrote over the clip shared on Instagram.

At the event, Kim Kardashian’s mentors joined by her sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian Barker were present. Later, they expressed their pride on social media. Additionally, Kim Kardashian’s children joined her on stage to celebrate the victory together.

Khloé shared on her Instagram Stories her sense of pride, stating, “I’m incredibly proud of Kim! I’ve just come from her law school graduation lunch. It’s hard to believe that this moment, years in the making, has finally arrived. I couldn’t be prouder!

The Law Office Study Program, an unconventional method for legal education outside of typical law school curriculum, is available in just four U.S. states, California being one of them. In 2018, Kardashian embarked on her legal training with a law firm in San Francisco, opting to qualify by learning under the guidance of experienced attorneys through supervised study.

In the tradition set by her deceased father, attorney Robert Kardashian Sr., Kim Kardashian has been actively engaged in efforts to reshape the criminal justice system, advocating for prisoner commutations since 2019.
