Fortnite has returned to iOS in the U.S.

At long last, after a grueling courtroom tussle and some extra wait time, I’m thrilled to say that Fortnite is once again available for gaming on iOS devices in both the United States and the European Union! It didn’t take long for this battle royale game to soar back to the top as the leading action game within the platform.

In the United States, individuals can download the game from the Apple Store. On the other hand, people living in Europe have the option to obtain the game not only from the Epic Games Store but also from various other third-party retailers.

Despite Fortnite being back on iOS devices across Europe last year, it has been briefly absent lately because Apple has been delaying the approval of the game’s most recent update for some time.

In response to Fortnite’s reinstatement, Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney expressed gratitude towards everyone who backed the initiative for mobile competition and the movement to liberate Fortnite from the start. He also thanked those who initially stood with Apple but eventually joined the cause, advocating for app developer rights and consumer interests.

Donald Mustard, the Creative Director, exclaimed: “This is simply amazing! Hurry up and download Fortnite onto your smartphones and tablets right away! In the initial stages of Fortnite’s development, we put in countless hours to perfect and fine-tune a user-friendly control system for mobile devices!

This triumph is particularly significant for Epic Games, given the controversy surrounding their integration of an AI-controlled Darth Vader into Fortnite, which began spewing explicit language, leading to a lawsuit by SAG-AFTRA.
