I’d like to express my heartfelt apologies for any misunderstandings that may have arisen from the discrepancy between the combat skills demonstrated in the promo video of Sword Maiden and the details mentioned in our recent notification.
Let me explain what happened:
In the making of the promotional video (PV), the combat scenes were filmed at an early stage of collaboration development. Following filming, we made some adjustments to balance in the final internal assessment. Unfortunately, we neglected to update the video with these changes. These alterations went unnoticed during our review process, leading us to release the original, unaltered footage.
Upon viewing the promotional video, I had certain expectations as a passionate fan. However, these anticipations were not aligned with the details shared in our official announcement, creating a noticeable divide. For this oversight, we sincerely apologize and take full responsibility for any confusion that may have arisen.
To rectify any issues, we’ve chosen to modify the character in a manner that aligns with our initial vision for its portrayal.

This partnership held significant importance for us, making it crucial that we paid extra attention during the preparatory stages. Regrettably, we fell short of delivering the high-quality experience you expected, and unintentionally disrespected the time and resources you invested in our game.
We deeply regret that our whole development team failed to deliver the pleasure we intended and instead caused disappointment and frustration. To all those who eagerly awaited and contributed to this collaborative event, we express our sincere apologies.
Concerning the Newbie Pass issue, we have developed a resolution which we will explain further in a dedicated update later today. Rest assured that we prioritize handling such problems with diligence and strive to regain your confidence.
