Super Earth itself is Helldivers 2’s next battleground in the Heart of Democracy update

In the live-action game Helldivers 2, the eagerly awaited major event has been unveiled: the onslaught of the Illuminate on Super Earth. This follows a chain of events instigated by humankind’s internal strife due to fascism, which allowed the aliens to infiltrate deep into the human empire and begin the destruction of its capital city.

In this new phase, Helldivers will engage in fierce city battles within Super Earth itself – the toughest urban skirmishes the game has ever presented. Just like previous missions, gamers from around the world need to collaborate and maintain the offensive against invaders, gradually forcing them back and ultimately driving them off their strongholds on the planet’s surface.

For that task, there are some intermediate steps to take. The “Super Earth” is equipped with powerful planetary defense guns, but they haven’t been activated yet. Helldivers can carry out missions related to this objective, causing chaos for the Illuminate fleet in orbit.

I tried to keep the original meaning while making it more natural and easy to read, and also added some context to help clarify certain terms like “Super Earth” and “Helldivers.

On Super Earth, it’s not just Helldivers who stand guard. The missions on this planet will involve friendly NPCs belonging to the local security forces, who engage invaders autonomously. However, these allies can be summoned to assist the Helldivers when needed – a temporary reinforcement, considering the high mortality rate.

Undoubtedly, faithful inhabitants of Super Earth continue to dwell among the wreckage of their urban areas. Moreover, Arrowhead warns gamers about the consequences of causing harm to innocents, implying caution when it comes to pulling the trigger might be wise.

Alongside this significant content revision, we’ve made some adjustments to address crashes associated with the revised weapon customization system and Illuminate units. We’re also rectifying the drone strategy issue, so drones should now behave as expected by returning to your backpack. Plus, enemy corpses won’t send you flying across the entire map unexpectedly anymore.
