On the 19th of May, in the most recent episode of Days of Our Lives, Alex presented Stephanie’s book to Kate at the local pub. He mentioned that the author wished to remain anonymous. Upon perusing the pages, Kate suggested there might be an audience for this type of novel.
Kate inquires as to the benefits when Alex requests her sincere thoughts. He shares his enthusiasm that the book is a success and intends for Kate to manage the revamp of Titan Publishing. She mentions she’ll consider it before leaving.
Sarah and Maggie discuss the unexpected cutoff of Xander at the hospital and his request for sepsis treatment. Trying to reach him, Sarah calls but gets no response. As they fear he might be engaging in harmful activities, Sarah suggests that if Xander were conscious of her knowing Philip’s secret, he wouldn’t act as compassionate towards her.
While inflicting severe blows upon Philip, Xander also taunted him, stating that he was weak and Victor disgraced by him for ruining the family. Exiting, Xander made clear that he wished never to encounter Philip again.
Prior to losing consciousness, Philip utters, “Sarah was aware.” Meanwhile, Xander swiftly returns, glances at Philip’s phone, notices something intriguing, and departs just as Kate approaches.
At the hospital, Kate brings up Xander’s name, causing Sarah to express concern during the examination that Xander might be involved in some way with Philip’s situation.
In the episode, upon arriving home, Maggie inquires about Xander’s sudden departure from Sarah. He explains that a significant business arrangement failed. She advises him to contact his wife since she has some queries for him. He responds, “I imagine she does. I too have a few questions I’d like to pose to her.
In the hospital, Sarah tells Kate that Philip has been stabbed and is unconscious. She also mentions that he sustained organ damage and severe injuries. Jada, who vowed to discover who was responsible when Philip arrived at the hospital, inquires about Xander’s whereabouts, as he had a possible motive for the attack.
