Recently, it’s been noticed that Blake Lively was seen in New York City amidst the controversy surrounding the “It Ends With Us” legal issue, and there have also been reports suggesting a rift between her and her longtime confidante, Taylor Swift.
Full of energy, Swift’s recent subpoena and gossip about a dispute with the singer didn’t ruffle her composure. Instead, she enjoyed an evening out in New York City with her siblings, Robyn and Lori Lively.
37-year-old former Gossip Girl cast member shared an Instagram photo from last Friday’s event, showing the three sisters enjoying themselves at the International Center of Photography. The occasion was the opening of a photography exhibition by artists Anna Palma and Guy Aroch, who have been partners for a decade and are also close friends.
Just a few days ago, I caught a glimpse of her in public, and it was electrifying! The buzz about her reported strained relationship with Taylor Swift had only just hit the headlines. Insiders claim that Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, her It Ends With Us co-star, are giving each other some distance following Lively’s escalating legal dispute. I can’t help but wonder how this will unfold!
It appears that Swift, summoned as a witness for the case on May 8, is reportedly choosing to keep her distance from the ongoing dispute. A source shared with People that their friendship has come to a standstill and Taylor wishes to have no involvement in this drama.
The negative response is due to the legal action taken by Lively in December 2024, where she accused Baldoni of inappropriate behavior and sexual harassment in the workplace. However, Baldoni denied these allegations and retaliated with a countersuit worth $400 million, accusing Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of defamation and extortion.
The situation surrounding Baldoni’s case took a notable turn when his legal team summoned Swift, who had no role in the film’s creation. Swift’s team promptly clarified that she wasn’t involved in the movie and only watched it after its public release. They labeled this move as an attempt to heighten public interest in the dispute.
Representatives from Lively spoke just as critically, labeling Baldoni and his associates as attempting to weaken women’s rights and the victim protection laws of California in a public setting.
Despite an ongoing legal battle, with the trial scheduled for March 2026, Blake Lively seems to be focusing on her family and personal support system amidst growing public scrutiny, as suggested by her recent public outing.
