In this anime, the main character, Jaden Yuki, joins Duel Academy where he encounters an influential figure on his very first day and receives the “Winged Kuriboh” card from them. As the story unfolds, Jaden must hone his dueling skills to ultimately claim the title of Game’s King.
Despite facing challenges with self-esteem among his new acquaintances during his initial year at the File Academy, Jaden Yuki still managed to make a number of friends.

19. Pokemon Series
As a devoted movie enthusiast, I find myself captivated by the intriguing narrative of this series that unfolds on an extraordinary planet inhabited by peculiar creatures known as Pokémon. These Pokémon exhibit a diverse array of abilities and appearances. Among them is a young boy named Ash, who dreams of becoming a “Pokémon Master” and a professional trainer.
Firstly, Ash needs to establish a bond with the playful Pikachu, a Pokemon, but doing so turns out to be challenging. As Ash progresses, he forges friendships with both humans and Pokemon while participating in various leagues.
After Ash’s unsuccessful attempt at kidnapping a Pokémon, he eventually reaches the Top 16 and collects some gym badges by winning them.
18. Toriko
In this captivating series, the way things function in this film seems peculiar. Prepare to witness extraordinary scenes, including snow-capped peaks resembling ice cream cones and food items sprouting from the earth, such as burgers.
Furthermore, the movie’s world features exceptional hunters who are on a quest for rare resources, earning them the title of “Gourmet Foragers.
To clarify, Toriko serves as our main character in this tale, and it’s worth noting that he stands out among others due to his exceptional status as a Gourmet Hunter who manages to acquire just 2% of all known ingredients. Yet, what sets him apart even further is his unique talent for crafting sumptuous full-course meals using the ingredients he successfully collects.
It’s worth pointing out that the action sequences are excellent, making it an appealing choice for fans of action movies, and there’s also a touch of culinary elements sprinkled in.
17. Inazuma Eleven

If you’re familiar with soccer, you should be able to grasp what ‘Eleven’ refers to. This series centers around Enduro Mamoru, who is exceptionally skilled as a goalkeeper. Notably, he hails from a lineage of renowned soccer players. However, the weight of maintaining his family’s reputation motivates him to take on various challenges.
A while back, his grandfather was one of the strongest goalkeepers in the history of Japan.
However, it appears that his team lacks enthusiasm for football, with even some of the limited players seeming rather lethargic.
Despite this, Enduro is determined to bring in fresh football talent to restore the former prestige of his original club. Eventually, his diligence proves fruitful when he and his squad triumph in the largest football competition.
Despite some folks underestimating this anime, I’ve re-watched it multiple times due to my deep affection for it.
16. Fairy Tail
Whenever I encounter the term ‘Fairy,’ my thoughts instantly drift towards enchantment, and this anime is no different. The story unfolds as I follow Lucy Heartfilia, a young, gifted magic-user embarking on a quest to gather celestial gate keys.
As a result of this, she decides to become part of a well-known coven of wizards. Unfortunately, her initial day with them turns sour as she’s abducted. Later on, though, she ends up joining Fairy Tale, where she encounters an assortment of peculiar individuals.
Similarly to what I’d suggest, there’s an exceptional anime series that I think you’d enjoy. While it does delve into the realm of magic, don’t let that fool you – the characters are also quite witty and humorous. So, I believe it would be a worthwhile investment of your time and hours. Trust me, you won’t regret giving it a watch!
15. Bleach
Ever think about what it would be like if you had the unique gift of seeing visions? And consider this – being born with such a gift; doesn’t that sound unbelievable?
As a cinephile, let me share that Ichigo Kurosaki seems like an ordinary individual, but there’s an extraordinary twist: he can perceive spirits. And yes, this unique gift wasn’t something he picked up along the way; it’s been with him since his very birth. I hope my revelation has put a smile on your face.
Instead, let me tell you that initially, Ichigo’s family encountered an attack by a Hollow. This event led him to commit his life to shielding innocent souls and aiding tormented spirits in finding peace. Thus, I suggest this series to you, even though it may not grab your attention immediately due to the presence of fillers.
14. InuYasha

The narrative within this anime commences with Kagome Higurashi, an ordinary 15-year-old girl, being dragged into a well situated at her family’s Shinto shrine by some malevolent spirits.
Consequently, she finds herself in the turbulent Sengoku period, encircled by demons and a magical diamond capable of fulfilling desires. Yet, after confronting a fearsome beast, the diamond splinters into pieces.
She’s required to restore it with Inuyasha’s assistance, ensuring it doesn’t fall into malicious control. Essentially, the storyline leans towards the “Hunger Games” style of genre.
Among the captivating aspects of this anime, you’ll find its enchanting soundtrack and well-crafted character development. I can’t help but urge you to give this timeless masterpiece a try!
13. The Prince of Tennis
In earlier times, I used to visit a sports facility to observe two players shouting back and forth as they tried to send the tennis ball across the court to their opponent’s side. This show, in essence, focuses on the world of tennis and its tournaments.
In the film, the main character, Ryouma Echizen, was taught by his father and eventually surpassed him in skill. Notably, he also studies at a renowned school where exceptional tennis players excel.
To keep his leading position, he continuously forges new connections and works diligently to perfect novel tennis techniques. Notably, he discovers that tennis is about much more than merely playing a game – it’s an entire way of life.
12. City Hunter Series
The film focuses on a team, known as Street Cleaners, who are skilled at forcing troublemakers out of Japanese cities.
Without a doubt, this anime stands among the greatest. It skillfully blends action, laughter, and suspense, making for an engaging watch. Indeed, it’s a delightful series to enjoy.
In the movie I’m referring to, I, or rather Ryo Saeba, play a significant role as the main character. A notable trait of mine in this storyline involves my tendency to pursue attractive women. Yet, it’s crucial to mention that the series also highlights a strong bond between myself and my partner, Hideyuki Makimura. Unfortunately, he passes away, leaving me with the responsibility of looking after his sister.
In essence, the series effectively demonstrates a romantic relationship between its primary characters while also showcasing their teamwork during assignments.
11. Black Clover

Black Clover is a well-liked anime known for its blend of captivating fantasy and action. The narrative centers around two boys, Yuno and Asta, who were left at a church as orphans.
Coincidentally, every one of these young lads yearns to become the Magic Emperor. What’s more, due to his inability to wield magic, Asta’s ambition for kingship is hindered, leading him to concentrate on enhancing his physical prowess instead. Doesn’t that seem unfortunate?
Of course, join us on an adventure with Yuno and Asta, where they’ll encounter new faces and face formidable foes. As for Yuno’s magical skills, I’ll let you discover that for yourself when you watch the film!
10. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

If you’re a thrill-seeker, this anime is perfect for you. It’s called “Jojo” because it’s based on the Joestar family. Members of this family discover they possess extraordinary abilities and must employ these powers to combat their enemies.
The film’s creators cleverly divide the movie into distinct segments. Each segment, in turn, provides a detailed chronicle of every individual from the afflicted JoJo lineage.
You’re familiar with the technique where you focus on one group member at a time to highlight them, and then move on to another. Using this approach, I believe that the series I recently watched exemplifies one of the finest applications of the scientific method.
9. D. Gray-Man
Is it justified to bring back a cherished individual even if awareness of the severe repercussions that may follow is unavoidable?
In this scenario, the Millennium Earl captures souls within mechanical devices called Akuma. The sole method to expel these demons is by utilizing objects known as Innocence. Consequently, Allen Walker and his group are tasked with freeing these trapped spirits.
Moreover, the series offers a blend of romantic elements and exciting action sequences. I strongly suggest you watch it over the weekend, it’s a timeless classic!
8. Dragon Ball Z

“Dragon Ball ranks high among popular animes, being the one that initially sparked my fascination with this genre. It’s worth noting that the story revolves around a character named Goku, who triumphs in the global martial arts tournament.”
Both versions convey the same meaning but the suggested version is more natural and easy to read for an average reader.
Yet, Goku, who enjoys a peaceful existence with his family, much like many men aspire to, receives a visit from his brother. It’s during this encounter that his brother reintroduces him to his roots and ancestry, causing Goku to comprehend his true identity.
Further, he understands the magnitude of impending danger, and he has to be ready when it comes.
The producers do a good job introducing a strong villain, which keeps you at the edge of your seat.
7. Fullmetal Alchemist
Fullmetal Alchemist takes place during the 20th century and involves alchemy, a practice that allows for the transformation or alteration of common metals into gold. The movie revolves around two brothers, Edward and Alphonse, who endeavor to find the Philosopher’s Stone following their unsuccessful attempt to bring their mother back to life.
Intriguingly, what I find remarkable is that, following their unsuccessful attempt to resurrect their mother, these characters embarked on a quest for the legendary Philosopher’s Stone due to their tragic loss. Interestingly, Edward managed to restore his brother’s physical form, albeit at the cost of his own magical prowess, which he had previously utilized as an instrument.
Regardless, his expertise in Alchemy remains distinct from his magical abilities. In essence, he transforms into a reservoir of Alchemy wisdom. I wholeheartedly suggest this to you.
6. Detective Conan Series
Could you kindly visualize yourself transforming once again into a teenager, yet maintaining the cognitive maturity you currently possess.
In a similar vein, the 17-year-old genius detective named Conan is unfortunately turned into a 7-year-old after being administered a harmful drug by a wicked criminal syndicate. Conan’s life centers around a friend who excels in Karate and his father, an eccentric driver.
Although Conan is required to hide his real identity and maturity level, it’s easy to understand how challenging this might be for him. Nevertheless, this teenage detective persists in resolving cases just as he did before, maintaining his original persona.
It is a classic.
5. Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

If you’re a lover of both humor and action, this film is perfect for you! The movie “Hitman reborn” centers around a young hitman who has been given a new task: training the heir of a powerful dynasty in his deadly profession.
As a passionate cinephile, I find myself drawn to the enigmatic character of Sawada, who radiates softness on the silver screen like a flickering candle. Yet, there’s an unusual air of bumbling and clumsiness about him that sets him apart from the rest. But what truly captivates me is his deep-seated affection for a girl in his school.
Unfortunately, as one might expect, she exists in a realm beyond his reach – she’s out of his league.
In a remarkable shift, the ordinary existence of naive Sawada undergoes a dramatic reversal upon encountering a seasoned infant assassin. Surprisingly effective in his role, the baby transforms Sawada’s heart, becoming both a kindred spirit and an unwavering ally during his various missions.
Summarily, there’s a balance between romance and action in the movie.
4. Monogatari Series
In this film, the storyline centers on Koyomi Araragi, who, following a vampire bite, chooses to lend aid to various individuals. These individuals span from young women troubled by gods and ghosts to those grappling with personal emotional and psychological struggles.
Previously, during spring break, Koyomi turned into a vampire briefly. However, due to the bite, he tirelessly strives to regain his human nature.
Additionally, he finds an unexpected reserve of power within himself as he manages to catch a classmate who tumbles down a set of stairs, defying the usual physical laws. This incident makes him realize the extraordinary strength he now holds.
Also, If you are a lover of vampire diaries, this is a classic anime I recommend to you.
3. Yuu Yuu Hakusho

Allow me to present Yuusuke Urameshi to you. At just 14 years old, he’s a troublemaker, but when faced with a near-fatal accident involving a child, he bravely risks his own life for the youngster’s safety. It’s hard to imagine anyone acting like that, isn’t it?
Indeed, my life undergoes a significant transformation when Koenma presents me with the opportunity to regain my former existence.
Yet, it’s his responsibility to carry out a set of tasks, which marks the start of his life on Earth as a Ghost Investigator. As a Ghost Investigator, he is tasked with probing mysteries where supernatural entities, specifically demons, interfere in human affairs.
Additionally, I should point out that the thrilling fight sequences in this anime are perfect for action enthusiasts. Consequently, I wholeheartedly suggest watching it.
2. Gintama
The main character, Gintoki, is an accomplished swordsman. This tale unfolds during a time when Japan was overtaken by extraterrestrial beings known as Amanto, who enacted a law banning the use of swords. Imagine a Samurai forced to abandon his sword – quite a predicament, wouldn’t you agree?
Through teaming up with his companion for freelance work, Gintoki managed to save a girl from the invasion. This act of bravery left a deep impression on the girl’s sibling, Shinpachi, who was moved by their skills and subsequently formed an alliance with Gintoki.
The anime has an abundance of action sequences, which means you’ll get to witness the interplay between the heroes as they attempt to fend off their adversaries.
1. Hunter X Hunter

As their title suggests, ‘Hunters’ are present in our world, tackling a wide range of tasks – from the mundane search for hidden treasures to the daring pursuit of dangerous criminals.
In the series Hunter x Hunter, the narrative primarily revolves around Gon Freecss, a 12-year-old boy who dreams of becoming an elite Hunter in order to locate his missing father. To achieve this goal, Gon needs to undergo and successfully pass the rigorous Hunter Exam, which is fraught with dangerous challenges.
As a fervent admirer of skill and dedication, I’d like to highlight that hunters are often bestowed with various accolades for their exceptional work in specific areas. Moreover, when a mentor, who is already an accomplished hunter, successfully guides another aspiring individual towards mastery across multiple disciplines, they are honored with two additional stars – a testament to their profound influence and versatility within the hunting community.
Furthermore, these hunters possess unique skills that aid them in accomplishing certain duties. Essentially, the film revolves around mentors molding aspirants who aspire to emulate their expertise.
