As a devoted follower, I was thrilled to be part of the glamorous scene at the 78th Cannes Film Festival held at Palais des Festivals in France on May 16. Being there for the premiere of Eddington, I proudly joined my fellow cast and crew members on the red carpet. The exceptional group consisting of Luke Grimes, Micheal Ward, Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Ari Aster, Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, and Clifton Collins posed together, adding an aura of grandeur to this prestigious film event as we made our way inside.
Following the festival’s recent regulation banning nudity or overly extravagant clothing, Stone made a bold statement in a striking white dress boasting a large, rounded neckline. She chose a subtle yet elegant “soft glam” makeup style for her face and adorned herself with sparkling diamond earrings.
Pascal donned a sleek black tailored suit, paired with a black dress shirt and a black necktie, whereas Butler, Phoenix, and Aster all sported comparable formal tuxedos, each adorned with a black bow.
As a dedicated admirer, I can’t help but gush over the ethereal vision that is Angelina Jolie! In an enchanting off-shoulder pastel pink gown, she exuded an air of fairy-like charm. Her cascading hair, parted elegantly to one side, only served to accentuate this magical allure. And her makeup, soft and dewy, was the cherry on top, harmoniously complementing her breathtaking ensemble.

In cinemas starting July 18th is the thrilling and comically dark movie titled Eddington, helmed by director Ari Aster. This film appears to be centered on the global COVID-19 pandemic and the demonstrations that ensued during the enforced quarantine periods, as suggested by the trailer.
Phoenix plays the sheriff of Eddington while Pascal plays Mayor Ted Garcia.
