Real Housewives Alum Sonja Morgan Gets Banned From Upscale NYC Restaurant For Refusing to Pay Bill; Know What Happened

Previously featured on The Real Housewives of New York City, Sonja Morgan was recently barred from a high-end NYC eatery. After news surfaced about Morgan allegedly causing a scene when settling her bill, she has spoken out against these claims and fiercely denied them through a statement.

According to what Morgan told Page Six, he clarified that there was a misunderstanding and that the dinner was actually part of a promotional arrangement.

In her statement, the former Real Housewife indicated that she had previously agreed on the terms with the staff, but now the restaurant seems to be telling a different story.

Based on reports, Morgan caused quite a stir at the Tucci diner. Instead of the three people she had reserved a table for, she arrived with an additional two guests. To top it off, when it came time to settle the bill, she refused to pay what seemed like a substantial amount.

A confidential source divulged to the news outlet that “She became extremely emotional and flatly refused to pay.” The source continued by saying that it appeared as though she was acting for a Real Housewives television show, exclaiming, “‘I’m famous!'” Based on media reports, matters worsened when Morgan requested that the restaurant owner dismiss her bill.

Another party disclosed that she had stated, “I don’t foot the bill; I get paid to dine at their establishments.” They went on to explain that she acted quite arrogantly and created a commotion over refusing to pay.

Even amidst the turmoil, Morgan settled the bill at the eatery. Nonetheless, the restaurant’s team has communicated that they do not intend to extend a warm welcome to the reality star again.

Max Tucci, the proprietor, disclosed to the media that “Currently, all costs are sky-high for eateries, and she’s simply capitalizing on this situation. There wasn’t any agreement for her to receive a complimentary meal. She merely desired free food and service.

Previously, Morgan relished the complimentary meals at the NYC eatery; she presumed her recent meal would also be provided gratis.
