Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s BIG Fight Over Princess Charlotte Revealed in Bombshell Book; Find Out What Happened

A revealing book by Tom Quinn titled “Yes, Ma’am: The Hidden Lives of Royal Staff” claims that an argument over bridesmaid dresses between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton at their 2018 wedding left both women in tears. The author uses a former royal insider to disclose the events unfolding within the palace during Prince Harry’s nuptials.

It’s been reported that there was an emotional disagreement between Meghan and Kate about Princess Charlotte’s wedding dress, specifically regarding its fit prior to Meghan and Prince Harry’s nuptials. The discussion turned heated, leading to remarks from both parties that they later wished they hadn’t made.

According to Newsweek’s report, the royal staff mentioned in the biography that “the media and commentators misunderstood; in reality, like with numerous disputes among siblings or sisters-in-law, both parties were genuinely upset.

It transpired that during the heated debate over the bridesmaid’s dress, Meghan expressed some words she subsequently regretted, and Kate did the same, moments she later wished she hadn’t. However, it all happened in the heat of the argument. Both ladies were deeply emotional, to the point of tears.

Previously, it was suggested that Kate was the one who cried. However, Meghan refuted this during her 2021 Oprah interview, stating that she was the one crying instead. Later on, Prince Harry backed up Meghan’s account in his memoir Spare, confirming her version of events to support Meghan.

Prince Harry recalled Kate expressing dissatisfaction about Princess Charlotte’s overly large dress, prompting Meghan to suggest immediate alterations. Despite efforts to smooth things over, tensions persisted.

Ajay Mirpuri, the dressmaker involved, mentioned that the bridesmaid dresses required last-minute adjustments. Yet, during his presence, there was no argument or dispute, he added.

2023 saw Mirpuri expressing understanding to the Daily Mail about a common predicament at weddings: unexpected issues arising at the last minute. He acknowledged that it would be natural for anyone to feel upset if their dresses didn’t fit properly, given the tension surrounding such events.

The luxury tailor expressed empathy, saying it was like seeing children perform on a grand stage in clothing that didn’t fit properly – which is exactly what these bridesmaids were wearing. In total, all six dresses needed adjustments, and the tailor took care of it.

Apart from discussing the disagreement about the bridesmaid dresses, Quinn’s book also touches upon the distant relationship between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton within the royal family. Despite having comparable backgrounds as outsiders, it is believed that they did not form a close bond with one another.
