Upon returning to her phone screen, Marquez cheerfully declared, “He’s like a tiny pig,” referring to the viewer on her live broadcast. Reportedly, she then opened the plush toy, beaming as she flung her hair back casually over her shoulder.

She sadly succumbed just a short while after, leaning limply in her chair with a puddle of blood on the table before her, as reported by the media outlet. The live broadcast continued uninterrupted. It came to an end when someone grabbed her phone for a brief instant, inadvertently exposing their face to the audience, according to the news source.

According to reports from the outlet, the Jalisco state’s Attorney General’s office announced that a 23-year-old social media influencer was fatally shot in her salon by an unknown male intruder. The authorities are currently treating this incident as a case of gender-motivated homicide, known as femicide. For those unaware, femicide refers to the murder of women or girls due to their gender.
