The Young and the Restless May 14 Episode Recap: Nate is Worried About Damian Turning Double Agent

In the recently broadcast episode of The Young and the Restless, dated May 14, 2025, we witnessed Phyllis convincing Victor to visit the jazz lounge, where she hoped to bait him with knowledge about Billy’s schemes with Dumas. However, it seems that Victor remained unaffected by her efforts.

She exhausted all available means, even invoking Summer’s name, negotiating a commercial venture for herself and her child based on what she asserted was a connection to Dumas.

In the halls of GCAC, I happened upon Adam and Chelsea. During our encounter, we discussed a matter of great significance – my knowledge of Victor’s intention to tarnish my reputation through the media. Following an intense exchange between Adam and myself, Chelsea stepped in to deescalate the situation.

Following Adam’s departure, Chelsea asked Billy to cease his counterattacks, explaining that Victor and Dumas had been manipulating him as if he were a chess piece. Billy consented. Upon Adam’s return, Billy momentarily stepped back from the confrontation.

Afterward, Victor gets to the GCAC, where he needles Billy. However, Billy refuses to be intimidated and instead asserts that he’d rather face failure on his own accord than succumb to bullying. In response, Victor orders Adam to unleash a defamatory campaign.

In the meantime, Dumas discussed Lily’s proposal with Nate regarding him joining the firm. He inquired if there were any issues. Nate voiced his worries about his brother potentially working as a double agent. However, Damian was adamant about this being where he wanted to be. Ultimately, Nate welcomed him aboard the company.

In a later part of the show, Victor encounters Adam and Chelsea at the GCAC. He creates an uncomfortable situation by inquiring if they had gotten engaged already. Moments after Victor leaves, Chelsea turns to her partner and wonders aloud if she was striking a bargain with the equivalent of the devil.
