Following the last trailer amassing an impressive 250 million views on the streaming service, it set a new benchmark as the most-viewed trailer in history for DC Comics and Warner Bros. productions.
Regarding the freshly released trailer from the studios, it seems Superman is facing criticism, even though he prevented a war. The scene starts off with Lois Lane, played by Rachel Brosnahan, interrogating him about some tough and contentious issues.
As the trailer unfolds, Superman encounters growing disapproval from the public and increased scrutiny from the media. Yet, he perseveres and stands firm against the villainy of Lex Luthor.
In this new project, Corenswet, known for his role in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, teams up with Nicholas Hoult, Skyler Gisondo, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, and Edi Gathegi. Notably, this upcoming DC movie represents the first standalone Superman film in over a decade, following the superhero’s brief appearance in Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel.
During a chat with Variety at the 2024 SAG Awards, actress Rachel Brosnahan shared her enthusiasm for portraying Lois Lane onscreen, saying, “I’ve always been captivated by Lois Lane.
In addition, she remarked, “She’s intelligent, driven, and has a great sense of humor. She usually feels the smartest person in the gathering. As for James Gunn, I’ve been a big admirer of his work from a distance.
Superman is scheduled to hit theaters on July 11.
