Duet Night Abyss shows off improved visuals in CBT2 trailer

Pan Studio recently unveiled a fresh trailer for their forthcoming action role-playing game, titled “Duet Night Abyss“. This game is frequently compared to Warframe, but boasts anime-styled characters instead. The second round of its closed beta testing is set to commence shortly.

Based on feedback received during the first Closed Beta Test (CBT1), the developer has made significant improvements across multiple aspects of the game. Pan Studio announced that the upcoming CBT2 will demonstrate some of these advancements, including extensive visual enhancements, broadened core systems, and finely-tuned combat and movement mechanics.

At least when it comes to visual upgrades, the freshly released trailer confirms the claims.

As a keen enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the recruitment period for CBT2 extends until early June 2025! That means the anticipated test could kick off as early as mid-month. Excited participants like myself can sign up for this fantastic opportunity on the official website. Let’s embark on this exciting journey together!

As a dedicated fan, I can’t help but raise an eyebrow at the latest DNA trailer, as it seems some of the animations shown bear a striking resemblance to moves from other popular gacha games. For instance, there’s an attack that strongly reminds me of Castorice’s Ultimate in Honkai: Star Rail, and another that’s strikingly similar to Encore’s Resonance Liberation in Wuthering Waves. Additionally, a character in the trailer looks uncannily like a younger version of WuWa’s Phoebe. It’s intriguing to see these similarities and wonder if they’re mere coincidences or intentional homages.
