First Look: Nicholas Galitzine and Camila Mendes Stun in ‘Masters of the Universe’ Set Leaks

The upcoming ‘Masters of the Universe‘ movie, eagerly awaited by many, is poised to bring the cherished characters from Mattel’s popular franchise to vibrant life on the cinema screen. In the director’s chair for this superhero flick is Travis Knight, and the talented ensemble includes Nicholas Galitzine as both Prince Adam/He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, and Jared Leto playing the wicked Skeletor.

Joining them in this story are Alison Brie and Idris Elba, bringing even more celebrity appeal to this grand saga. The movie, set for release on June 5, 2026, will chronicle Prince Adam’s transformation from an Earth-bound crash landing to his ascension as He-Man, the protector of Eternia.

Concerning Prince Adam, new snapshots have been released, featuring Galitzine embodying the character alongside his fellow actor, Camila Mendes.

Filming for “Masters of the Universe” officially commenced on January 6, 2025, right here in London. Previously planned locations included Prague back in 2019, followed by a summer shoot in 2022, and then rescheduled again for April 2023. Fabian Wagner is the cinematographer responsible for capturing this production on camera.

In February 2025, several newcomers were added to the cast, with Morena Baccarin taking on the role of the Sorceress at Castle Grayskull, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson portraying Fisto, James Purefoy stepping into King Randor’s shoes, Charlotte Riley becoming Queen Marlena, Jon Xue Zhang being cast as Ram-Man, Sasheer Zamata assuming the character of Suzie, and Christian Vunipola landing the role of Hussein.

Masters of the Universe is scheduled to be released by Amazon MGM Studios on June 5, 2026.
