On Saturday, May 10, Walton Goggins gracefully took the stage as the host of Saturday Night Live for the first time. In his opening monologue, he pondered over his surprising transformation into a heartthrob, a role he’s now embracing following his acclaimed performance as Rick Hatchett in The White Lotus. Goggins, aged 53, acknowledged and addressed the recent buzz surrounding his character and appearance.

In a jovial tone, he added, “Sometimes, my pals have inquired, ‘Walton, how does it feel to transform into a sex symbol at the age of 53?’ To be truthful, it’s simply wonderful.
The main character from “The White Lotus” presented evidence in the form of genuine articles that were popular on the internet about him. One headline from Cosmopolitan read: “Are We All Infatuated with Walton Goggins’ Advancing Hairline?” In response, Goggins chuckled and stated, “I’ve had this hairline since I was seven years old. It’s not receding; it’s maintaining its position.

During that episode, Goggins wasn’t by himself; his fellow White Lotus cast member and longtime friend, Sam Rockwell, joined in a previously recorded skit focusing on small feet. It was over a month later when Goggins’ Saturday Night Live appearance went live, following the conclusion of The White Lotus Season 3 on HBO.
