Dawson’s Creek Star Michael Pitt Arrested On S*xual Abuse Charges; Here’s Everything We Know

It’s been reported that Michael Pitt, famously known for his role in Dawson’s Creek, was taken into custody recently due to accusations of sexual misconduct. According to various sources, this occurred on May 2, 2025, in New York City. Additionally, TMZ claims that the arrest took place late on a Friday night.

According to both the New York Post and TMZ, Michael Pitt was taken into custody on multiple allegations that include first-degree sexual abuse, sexual assault, injury with a weapon (of a sexual nature), strangulation (of a sexual nature), and coercion.

Important to note: Despite claims of guilt, both the actor and model maintain their innocence regarding these allegations according to updates. Simultaneously, it’s worth mentioning that Judge Joanne Quinones established bail at $100,000 during a court hearing in Brooklyn Supreme Court.

In a statement regarding Cary London’s arrest, his lawyer expressed regret that even someone like Brad Pitt, a highly esteemed professional with no intention to commit such offenses, can be apprehended based solely on the unverified claims of an obviously disturbed person.

Afterward, he emphasized that their legal strategy would be centered around providing proof of Michael Pit’s innocence, rather than relying on media influence.

According to court records, it’s claimed that the actor was involved in four separate instances of sexual assault, which occurred from April 2020 to August 2021.

In the meantime, TMZ claimed these disturbing events transpired at Michael Pitt’s Bushwick residence involving his former girlfriend.
