I’m thrilled to share that I’ve eagerly tuned in once again to witness the start of a fresh chapter – the 27th season – of the ever-controversial reality show, Big Brother. It commenced on July 10, and at long last, I got to see who would be stepping into the infamous house this time around.
In keeping with the unpredictable nature of the show, where surprises are often sprung on viewers during episodes, this time was no exception. Immediately after the contestants were introduced, it was revealed to the audience that there was an additional 17th houseguest, who would be participating in the game alongside the others.
Regarding the reality show, Julie Chen Moonves is now hosting Big Brother. To add intrigue about the upcoming mystery guest, Moonves hinted that this individual might be quite divisive or contentious. The statement has left the internet speculating, as many believe that Rachel Reilly could be the secret guest.
Is Rachel Reilly the mystery houseguest in Big Brother?
In the whirlwind of speculation among show enthusiasts regarding the enigmatic houseguest on various social platforms, I too held the belief that Rachel Reilly was the one hiding in the wings. Yet, during the very first episode’s grand unveiling, Moonves confirmed my suspicions as he introduced her as the 16th contestant, ready to make her move in the open game.
Additionally, the host mentioned that it was the 17th contestant who was residing in the house prior to the episode and was accountable for the power failure and various occurrences that transpired during the broadcast.
The competitors were subsequently given a task to solve. Their mission was to identify the secret participant. If they managed to guess correctly, the competitor would exit the competition right away. If they failed, the individual would remain in the game, maintaining their anonymity.
As the speculation lingers on, it’s yet to be revealed which contestant is hiding behind the mask of the 17th participant in the game.
