Terrell clarified his perspective in an interview with PEOPLE, stating, “In the clip, Hailey can be heard saying, ‘I don’t like people putting their hands on anyone,’ and it was assumed she was addressing me.

Terrell observed that the revised version of the content was shared on various platforms tagged as “#meangirl”. He explained, “Upon rewatching it, I noticed that the caption included ‘mean girl’ hashtag. This individual had manipulated Bieber’s words, cut them off at appropriate points, and presented them in a way that didn’t show the man interrupting us.

It was perceived that Bieber was acting rudely. One individual commented, “I’ve always suspected she was a harsh person.” Another user added, “Hold on, what did she say? The girl didn’t even touch her.” However, in truth, Bieber was conversing with the security guard and was actually defending Terrell.
