HoYoverse has unveiled two exclusive characters for the forthcoming collaboration between Honkai: Star Rail and Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works. The event, titled “Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail,” is set to debut in HSR on July 11, 2025.
During the crossover event, players can obtain the five-star Archer (Emiya) for free just by logging in. On the other hand, five-star Saber (Artoria) will appear as a featured character on the banner. In the gameplay, Archer (Emiya) functions as a Hunt character, inflicting Quantum damage, while Saber (Artoria) acts as a Destruction character, dealing Wind damage.
During the concert marking HSR’s two-year anniversary, a teaser was shown featuring Saber wielding her Noble Phantasm, Excalibur, in HSR’s distinctive artistic style. It seems reasonable to conclude that this will serve as her final ability within the game.
The Honkai team at HoYoverse is well-known for their affection towards Kinoko Nasu’s universe, and HSR lead designer Chengnan An has shared that they aim to replicate some aspects of the Fate series during the eagerly anticipated collaboration. This partnership was initially announced last year.
At the concert, HoYoverse hinted at a forthcoming Honkai game that seems to match the recently registered trademark, Honkai: Nexus Anima.
