Crystal Hefner, famously known as the widow of the late Playboy magazine founder, Hugh Hefner, is planning to remarry. According to recent news, she will be marrying James Ward. The proposal took place on April 25th, and they have been dating for a year. As per US Weekly, Ward proposed with a six-carat, vintage mine-cut diamond ring, set on a delicate band, at Hefner’s Hawaiian residence.
It’s as if we’ve come full circle. I was utterly taken aback when James unveiled his secret; a hidden staircase leading to a winding trail, culminating in a beautifully crafted deck overlooking the ocean, suspended on a cliffside. This is what he shared with the media outlet, as the wife of Hugh Hefner.
In further discussions with the media, she mentioned that it was the exact location where they’d had a picnic about a year prior. Crystal Hefner referred to the spot as “ours,” adding that she hadn’t realized he was covertly transforming their relationship into something more “enduring and symbolic.
Crystal Hefner revealed that at first, it seemed like an ordinary stroll for the man, but when she noticed flowers, heartfelt messages, and the vast ocean ahead, she understood that a unique event was imminent.
In an interview with PEOPLE, Ward admitted that it was challenging to hide his secret plans for a proposal from Hefner. “Hiding things goes against the nature of our relationship,” Ward explained further.
He further added that those acquainted with Crystal Hefner would likely attest to the fact that she rarely overlooks anything.
The 41-year-old said, “She’s a mix of being intelligent and thoughtful, so I needed to be more careful to prevent myself from revealing too much.
