Yotei isn’t straying too far from Ghost of Tsushima in terms of any aspect, making it a delight for fans who loved the original, but perhaps a letdown for those hoping for something new and distinct. The game expands upon the foundation laid by the first game, enhancing many of its elements, yet remains committed to certain debatable features like the rock-paper-scissors style combat.

For those eagerly anticipating playing Ghost of Yotei on a PS5, here’s some exciting news: A special bundle featuring the game and a limited-edition console is being developed. This unique console design draws inspiration from kintsugi, a traditional Japanese art form that involves repairing broken ceramics with lacquer and gold, resulting in stunning patterns highlighting where the breaks were mended.

Two variations of this restricted design are planned: one in gold and another in black. The gold version will be accessible worldwide, while the black edition will only be sold on PlayStation’s online store within the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Austria.

While the golden design draws inspiration from kintsugi, the dark one adheres to the fundamentals of sumi-e – a form of art that centers around creating images using black ink. Each design stands out beautifully on its own.
