In another location, Eric and Ridge pick up their discussion from the previous episode. Being an ardent fan of the relationship between Brooke and Ridge, he’s been urging the latter to chase after her and leave Taylor, his current spouse.
Ridge asserted to his father that he wasn’t allowing him to act like a deity with his life. Eric informed his son that he couldn’t keep toggling between two women and needed to make a definitive choice. He insisted that the love triangle would only conclude with Ridge ending up with Brooke.
