Sebastian Stan is well-known for his regular appearances on the hit series Gossip Girl from the 2000s. In this show, he portrayed Carter Baizen, frequently appearing alongside Blake Lively’s Serena, Leighton Meester’s Blair, and Chace Crawford’s Nate.
In addition to Penn Badgley playing Dan and Ed Westwick as Chuck, Stan also had a significant role throughout many early seasons. Notably, he briefly dated Meester’s character during this time. In an interview, The Apprentice suggested that she might have been his first love.
During an interview with E! News while promoting Marvel’s Thunderbolts, the actor reminisced about his time on Gossip Girl. When queried about who from his old cast he keeps in contact with, Stan mentioned a few of them by name.
Chase and I have many conversations. We were acquainted prior to ‘Gossip Girl’, which has kept our friendship strong,” he mentioned. Additionally, he remembered encountering the actor from ‘You’ on his podcast, but it is primarily Crawford with whom he’s maintained regular contact.
The list was compact, pleasant, and lacked most of his fellow actors. It appears that Lively and Stan may not be on good terms anymore, nor is he friendly with Meester. Recently, Lively has been making headlines due to her contentious legal dispute with her co-star Justin Baldoni from It Ends With Us.
Instead, she’s been attempting to maintain an air of casualness and has been seen attending public functions together with her spouse, Ryan Reynolds. Lately, she caused quite a stir by donning a Cinderella-blue dress at the premiere of her forthcoming movie, Another Simple Favor.
However, fans took issue with the visible foundation lines on the actress’s corset from The Simple Favor, and this sparked harsh criticism. As a result, she was mercilessly trolled online by netizens, who appeared to be backing Baldoni instead.
