In a recent interview for Cosmopolitan’s online edition on April 28th, singer Madison Beer discusses her enduring bond with Justin and Hailey Bieber. She shares heartfelt insights about their lasting relationship.

According to Beer, she holds a deep affection for both Justin and Hailey Bieber. She recently spent time with them and shared a moment reflecting on their long-standing friendship. Beer mentioned that she’s known Hailey since her childhood days, while Justin was just 12 when they first met. Now, they are married with a baby, and Beer is still an integral part of their lives.

In the year 2012, I stumbled upon beer – or rather, it found me through a captivating rendition of Etta James’ timeless classic “At Last.” Sharing my cover on social media, I attracted attention, and eventually, Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber’s manager at the time, noticed my talent. This marked the beginning of an exciting journey in the world of music for me.

Yet, Beer’s early career in music wasn’t without hurdles. She vividly remembered the day when her manager, lawyer, and record label all parted ways with her. “In just a span of 12 hours, I lost everything in my life,” she said. “At 16, my label essentially told me, ‘Break a leg.’

Beer expressed that the abrupt shifts in her professional life left her feeling neglected. She elaborated that being let go made her feel as though significant chunks of her youth were stolen from her.

She mentioned that her education prioritized her career, resulting in only a high school diploma since she hadn’t attended college because of being homeschooled. Additionally, Beer pointed out that her family had relocated to Los Angeles without any established connections, leaving her with few friends during that period.

Additionally, she mentioned that her teammates had shared their concerns with her about her not achieving enough success. At the tender age of 14, she disclosed that some grown men had discussions about her appearing too sexually mature, a situation that left her feeling uneasy.

As stated by Beer, the hardest aspect she encountered was the sudden vanishing act of individuals who once considered her part of their family. She explained that she transitioned from being affectionately welcomed, labeled as family, and even compared favorably to ‘the next female Justin Bieber’, to finding herself abruptly discarded with no prior notice.

According to a source, there was unease between Justin Bieber and his team, and Madison Beer’s team regarding how Madison should be promoted. This disagreement eventually resulted in Justin Bieber ending his association with her.

When inquired about being labeled as ‘the female Justin Bieber,’ Beer explained that the likeness stemmed from sharing a manager (Scooter Braun) who had also signed Justin earlier.
