Against the Storm is coming to consoles in June 2025

Eremite Games and Hooded Horse are delighted to share that the game “Against the Storm” will be playable on consoles, becoming available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on June 26, 2025.

The console version of Against the Storm, currently being developed by experts at QLOC, will offer a revamped user interface specifically tailored for console gamers. It’s set to be released with the same language options as the PC version and will include all content from the base game. However, console players won’t have access to the frogs introduced in the first DLC, Keepers of the Stone.

At the moment, “Against the Storm” can be played on PC and is part of the PC Game Pass library. However, we haven’t received any updates regarding whether it will also be added to Xbox Game Pass for consoles.

Currently, Eremite Games is actively working on the upcoming free update and paid DLC for the PC edition. This exciting development will introduce bats and their eerie structures into the game, as well as a fresh new biome. The community’s voice was heard over two years ago during Early Access when they voted for bats to be added to the game in a poll.

At the close of 2023, Against the Storm exited Early Access, earning praise from both critics and gamers for its groundbreaking approach to city-building gameplay. Its roguelike structure makes it an ideal fit to transition onto gaming consoles.
