Justin Bieber shared a touching video on Instagram, originally filmed when he was young. The clip shows Bieber rushing to embrace his grandfather, planting a sweet kiss on his cheek, and his grandfather playfully lifting him up.

According to reports from an online obituary posted by a funeral home located in Stratford, Ontario (the singer’s hometown), Dale sadly passed away on Thursday, April 24th, at the age of 80.

The obituary is said to have indicated that Dale passed away at Rotary Hospice in Stratford, Perth. The deceased was married to Diane Dale and a parent to Candie Toper, Chris Mallette, Chri Dale, and the mother of Pattie Mallette, who is Bieber’s mom.

Prior to posting the video, Bieber initially paid tribute by uploading a heartfelt message accompanied by a snapshot of him and his grandfather, captured in a spontaneous moment. The photograph was said to have been taken in Ontario during November 2009, mere days before he launched his debut album, My World.
