Final Destination: Bloodlines to Have Major Twists and Turns That Will Throw Fans for a Loop, Says Director

The upcoming movie “Final Destination: Bloodlines” revives an old but spine-tingling storyline, one that has kept viewers hooked and petrified in equal measure. To clarify for those not in the know, this eagerly awaited production represents the sixth chapter in the widely adored suspense series.

In an interview with SFX Magazine, director Zach Lipovsky shared insights on what makes this upcoming movie unique. He mentioned that unlike its predecessors which were set in contemporary times, this film’s first premonition occurs in 1969, marking a shift towards the past.

He went on to say that the movie would depict multiple deaths “as part of the premonition, a common occurrence at the start of a Final Destination film.

Instead, the surprising aspect comes from the way the scene concludes – seen through the perspective of someone else from the current time period. This unexpected change sets up an exciting loop and presents a fresh enigma that fans can eagerly explore.

According to director Zach Lipovsky, it will leave viewers intrigued and eager to unravel the mystery.

It’s exciting for audiences when a movie keeps them on the edge of their seats due to its unexpected twists,” he emphasized, underlining the captivating allure of the production.

He continued by expressing that the movie breaks free from common expectations, revealing unexpected deaths and their circumstances.

Directed jointly by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, Final Destination: Bloodlines is scheduled for a theater release on May 16, 2025.
