On April 22, 2025, Lar Park Lincoln, renowned for her roles in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood and Knots Landing, passed away at the age of 63. This was confirmed by Actors Audition Studios, a company she founded, who celebrated her career and her commitment to nurturing aspiring actors.
Throughout her remarkable 45-year span in Hollywood, Lar made an indelible impression with her powerful acting performances and a steadfast commitment to nurturing emerging actors. (This version maintains the original meaning but uses a more conversational tone.)
Lar Park Lincoln’s fight against breast cancer started back in 2008 when she received her initial diagnosis. Since then, she has endured numerous surgeries and treatments in her struggle. In 2012, the public became aware of her health struggles as she bravely shared details about her ongoing medical journey.
Undeterred by the challenges both physically and emotionally, Lar persisted in her dedication to her profession as an acting coach and the founder of her audition studio based in Dallas, Texas. Simultaneously, she fulfilled her role as a mother to her two kids, Piper and Trevor Lincoln, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Beyond her thriving acting profession, Lar was also a committed mother and businesswoman. She was wed to Michael Lincoln between 1981 and his passing in 1995 due to cancer. Lar leaves behind her two children, Piper and Trevor, along with her grandchildren, Aura, Benjamin, Jack, and Mia Grace.
Piper, her child, later clinched the Miss Texas Jr. Teen crown and dedicated time to helping kids at the Scottish Rite Hospital. Meanwhile, Trevor, another offspring of hers, found a passion for music, mastering not only the guitar but also the trombone as well.
Lar was honored with the Bronze Halo Award for her significant contributions to the entertainment industry, most notably portraying the telekinetic character ‘Tina Sheppard’ in Friday the 13th Part VII. This is a memorable role that has left a lasting impact.
As a devoted supporter, I’m respecting their wish for privacy during this challenging period and encouraging contributions instead. You can make donations to either The SAG-AFTRA Foundation or The Entertainment Community Fund, rather than sending flowers.
