Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – If I were two years old, at what age would I Gommage?

Among the unusual destinations in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 lies the sprawling Gestral Beaches, hidden worldwide. The initial beach you encounter will test your agility with a brief obstacle course akin to parkour. If you successfully navigate it (a task not for the faint-hearted, as your character’s movement isn’t typically suited for this), you’ll be rewarded by the Gestral at the end, offering Lune a new swimsuit.

As a devoted fan, I found myself presented with an intriguing conundrum. If I managed to solve their riddle, they promised me another swimsuit. The question that left me scratching my head was: “If I were two years old, at what age would I Gommage?” Here’s the answer I uncovered in this guide.

What is the answer to the beach Gestral’s question?

The answer is 17 years old, but surprise! It doesn’t actually matter.

Regardless of your response, the Gestral will concede their counting skills are poor and will believe you’re right, awarding you a swimsuit as a prize.

To clarify, you can solve this by adding the child’s age and subtracting it from the number on the Monolith at the same time. For instance, if the child is three years old, the Gommage would be 32; when they are four, the Gommage becomes 31, and so forth. Interestingly, the numbers intersect when the child turns 17, which brings a sense of sadness to the people of Lumiere.
