Lil Uzi Vert was transported to a hospital in New York City following an incident where he appeared unwell at a hotel in Manhattan.
30 p.m. ET and transported the Just Wanna Rock rapper to a nearby hospital for medical attention. A video posted by TMZ appears to show an individual believed to be Uzi being wheeled into an ambulance, with spectators looking on.
Jatavia Shakara Johnson, commonly known as City Girls rapper JT, was by Uzi’s side during the outing. To maintain privacy, they both used black umbrellas. Despite no official statement about their health status, it is said that they were aware as they were transported to a hospital.
As a passionate fan, I want to acknowledge that Uzi Vert identifies as nonbinary and prefers the use of they/them pronouns. In the musical landscape of 2025, they’ve chosen to keep a lower profile, not releasing any solo tracks this year. However, Uzi did make an appearance on Skrilla’s “Walking Dead,” which dropped in February.
In 2024, they released their new album, titled Eternal Atake 2. This record debuted on the Billboard 200 at the third spot. It is said to have sold approximately 59,000 equivalent album units during its first week. The album garnered praise for continuing the futuristic sound that was established in its predecessors.
Lil Uzi Vert and JT were first rumored to be in a relationship back in 2019, and they officially confirmed their romantic involvement in public in 2021. During an interview on Angie Martinez’s podcast, JT spoke highly of her partner, saying, “He’s an outstanding individual. People might try to portray Uzi in a negative light, but Uzi is truly remarkable! He’s incredibly inspiring. No matter what challenges he faces, he always finds a way to push through.
At present, accompanied by their partner, the rapper is currently hospitalized in Manhattan, and details about any health issues they might be experiencing are not yet publicly revealed.
