In the game Oblivion: Remastered, the terms Willpower and Luck might seem puzzling when you first start, given all the activity happening around. These terms actually represent the main stats or Attributes in the game. They influence factors like a character’s Health, the amount of damage they can inflict, their negotiation skills, among other aspects. You can find these Attributes in the second tab of your Character menu for easy reference.
Attribute values in green or red mean they are temporarily buffed or weakened.
All Attributes In Oblivion Remastered

In the game “Oblivion: Remastered”, there are a total of 8 different attributes, and they usually fall within the range of 0 to 100. However, some special effects might cause them to briefly exceed 100.
Character traits are influenced by several variables, including ancestry, birth signs, and character class. When advancing a level, players have the liberty to allocate 12 attribute points as they see fit.
In the revised version of the game, it seems that attributes no longer directly influence three specific skills like they did originally. However, skills can still be indirectly affected by attributes.
Strength
- Increases: Encumbrance and slightly raises maximum Health.
- Damage Increase: With heavy weapons and fists.
In the game ‘Oblivion’, the primary advantage of having ‘Strength’ lies in the fact that melee attacks inflict a higher amount of damage, ranging from Longswords to fists, including weapons like Claymores, Maces, War-Axes, and Warhammers. Additionally, players will find themselves capable of carrying more items, and they’ll notice a slight boost in their Health Points (HP), making them more resilient and harder to defeat.
Intelligence
- Increases: Maximum Magicka.
With an increased amount of Magicka, players are able to not just perform more spells, but also stronger ones that demand a larger quantity of Magicka.
Willpower
- Increases: Magicka regeneration & greatly increases maximum Fatigue.
In battles lasting a longer duration, spellcasters will have an advantage due to faster Magicka regeneration. Also, with a significantly higher level of Fatigue, they will be able to execute more physical tasks before exhaustion sets in.
Agility
- Increases: Fatigue regeneration and slightly raises maximum Fatigue.
- Damage Increase: With Daggers, Shortswords, and Bows.
If you aim to avoid exhaustion during battles that involve dodging, running, and combat, boosting your Agility is advisable. Additionally, it plays a crucial role for individuals wielding light melee weapons or bows, as it affects the weapon’s damage output.
Speed
- Increases: Movement speed.
Apart from improving their speed for running, walking, and sprinting, players will additionally boost their swimming speed with a heightened Speed attribute.
Endurance
- Increases: Greatly increases maximum Health and determines Health regeneration.
Crucial for staying alive during battle, Endurance also boosts the amount that your Health grows each time you level up.
Personality
- Increases: How much people like you.
A pleasant personality can greatly facilitate all parts of a dialogue. People who have a positive inclination towards you are more prone to disclose valuable information and propose advantageous offers.
Luck
As a player, the luck stat significantly impacts my abilities, either boosting or reducing them. When I’m above 50 in luck, good fortune tends to lean towards me more often, while when I’m below 50, it seems like the odds are stacked against me.
All Vitals In Oblivion Remastered

In the game Oblivion: Remastered, the vital statistics (or stats) are clearly defined with set maximum levels and recharge rates. These stats are influenced not only by your character’s Attributes but also by other persistent benefits like Birthsigns.
Health
Health is represented by the red health meter. The maximum health level can be boosted, and characters can either recover naturally over time, or they may employ healing spells and potions for restoration.
- Affected By: Endurance & Strength.
Magicka
Magic power, represented by the blue bar, functions like mana used for casting spells. It restores itself naturally over time. More potent spells consume larger quantities of Magic power.
- Affected By: Intelligence & Willpower.
Fatigue
The green bar represents one’s energy level, which can be understood as endurance. This energy depletes when engaging in physical activities like combat or running.
- Affected By: Willpower & Agility.
Encumbrance
In the realm of Oblivion: Remastered, I’ve learned that Encumbrance isn’t just a secondary concern. It plays a significant role in managing my inventory, as it sets limits on how much loot I can haul around.
- Affected By: Strength.
