Justin Baldoni’s Attorney Accuses Blake Lively of ‘Abusing’ Legal Process Amid It Ends With Us Feud

The renewed legal dispute between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively over alleged misconduct during the production of their movie “It Ends With Us” is making headlines once more. In a recent filing, Baldoni has accused Lively of misusing the legal system in a newly-submitted grievance.

According to reports from Us Weekly and court documents they’ve obtained, Baldoni claims that Lively has misused legal strategies in a recent filing. In these court papers, an individual referred to as “Vanzan” filed a lawsuit on September 27, 2024, against unnamed defendants.

According to the court records, this action appears to stem from a persistent attempt to harm both the business and the reputation of the Plaintiff. The complainant alleges that unknown parties have collaborated in an effort to undermine the Plaintiff’s business and tarnish their reputation.

In accordance with both spoken commitments and written contracts, defendants hold obligations concerning the plaintiff’s business and reputation that include maintaining confidentiality, acting in good faith, and loyalty. These terms are outlined in the pertinent legal documentation.

I, as a dedicated follower, am pointing out that my team is alleging breaches of duty concerning confidentiality and good faith against them. Attorney Bryan Freedman, who stands by me, has labeled this filing as a ‘sham lawsuit,’ asserting it as an inappropriate use of the legal system.

On April 21st, he stated that the baseless lawsuit was intended to acquire subpoena authority without supervision or examination. As a result, it prevented his clients from challenging the legitimacy, purpose, and extent of the subpoena.

As stated by Freedman, Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds through their company Vanzan, had no involvement in the ongoing case. He emphasized that this false filing was an egregious misuse of legal procedures. Furthermore, Freedman pointed out that attorneys have a responsibility to uphold integrity, and this action clearly shows unscrupulous behavior.

In simpler terms, “It’s invalid for someone unrelated to the current case to accuse another party of breaking a contract without clearly identifying themselves. This action shows dishonesty and is an obvious misuse of legal procedures,” he stated.

Blake Lively’s legal team contends that the filing they made was a proper and lawful investigative measure. Currently, the court case between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively is set for March 9, 2026, pending any potential resolution.
