Peacock has officially announced that the second season of Twisted Metal will debut on July 31st. The streaming service also shared a sneak peek and fresh images from the upcoming season, which brings back Anthony Mackie as John Doe and Stephanie Beatriz as Quiet. In addition, Anthony Carrigan has been added to the cast as Calypso.
John and Quiet Enter the Tournament
Season 2 continues from where Season 1 ended, introducing us to the fact that John Doe and Quiet have joined the Twisted Metal tournament. This isn’t your average car race; it’s a destructive demolition derby masterminded by the enigmatic Calypso. Each participant is vying for a single wish. For John and Quiet, their reasons are deeply personal. However, they must first outlive and outwit the fifteen other competitors, all of whom possess deadly talents and harbor individual ambitions.
Fan Favorites Return, New Faces Arrive
In this new turn of events, Arnett and Seanoa reprise their roles as the ruthless and tumultuous duo known as Sweet Tooth. Carrigan takes over as Calypso, the devious mastermind behind the tournament’s operations. Additionally, John encounters his long-lost sister, Dollface, who is a vigilante with her unique set of intentions.

Michael Jonathan Smith remains in his role as both head writer and executive producer, with Anthony Mackie, Will Arnett, and associates from the PlayStation Productions team also taking on executive producer roles. Directors for Season 2 are set to include Phil Sgriccia, Bill Benz, Iain MacDonald, and Bertie Ellwood.
