Tekashi 6ix9ine Blames Former Friend for Raid Evidence, Claims He Was ‘Framed’; Sources REVEAL

Trigger warning: This article contains mentions of drugs and gun possession

As a devoted fan, I can share that Tekashi 6ix9ine was declared culpable for possessing illegal drugs and a firearm within his residence, after a search operation. Yet, the rapper alleges he’s been set up by one of his ex-friends. According to TMZ reports, an Assistant U.S. Attorney asserted that a confidential informant guided them towards the evidence.

Law enforcement officers found a duffel bag labeled MMDA containing cocaine traces, along with a Glock pistol hidden within the pool house. However, the rapper asserts his innocence regarding the incident, alleging that his previous friend betrayed him by setting him up and carrying out the underhanded actions.

He shared with the media source that the possible informant might be one of his long-time acquaintances. His legal representative, Lance Lazzaro, communicated to TMZ that he remains optimistic about a positive outcome in this situation. The court date for this case has been scheduled for May 22nd.

On that day, the rapper will discover his destiny. However, prior to that, the judge overseeing the case has authorized a gun and ammunition ban on the premises. On Monday, April 21st, 6ix9ine expressed his apologies publicly in court for the chaos caused by the raid.

The search conducted by federal agents at his residence in Florida in March, unannounced and sudden, led to the discovery of certain substances. During this extensive search, it’s said that they overturned pieces of furniture and even gathered DNA evidence.

6ix9ine (also known as Daniel Hernandez) has denied the allegations against him. His past includes run-ins with the law and authorities, with a 2024 sentence of about a month and a half in prison due to multiple breaches of his probationary period being one such instance.

According to reports, the sentence handed down exceeded what the prosecutors had requested, serving as a reminder of the potential penalties for breaking the court’s confidence. At that moment, he admitted guilt for five offenses, among which were unauthorized trips to Las Vegas and Sarasota.
