Miley Cyrus’s Brother Accuses Katy Perry of Mimicking the Wrecking Ball Singer’s Career Choices in Wild Social Media Rant

In a lively outburst on social media, Trace Cyrus, Miley’s brother, criticized Katy Perry, alleging that she imitated Miley’s musical and hairstyle decisions.

In an Instagram post on April 18, Trace stated, “She dramatically shortened her hair, causing a sensation online, with everyone reacting in shock, and then she dyed it platinum blonde.

In another words, Trace recounted a fictional dialogue that Katy Perry supposedly had with her team following the widespread popularity of her 2012 blonde pixie cut. He mimicked Perry as she discussed changing her look slightly, but ultimately decided to replicate it exactly the same, satirizing former American Idol judge.

Perry sported a similar style in the year 2017. She subsequently let her hair grow longer and returned it to its signature black shade in the year 2021. Interestingly enough, he once poked fun at her collaboration song with Migos titled Bon appétit, which was released several years following when Migos put out a track called Hannah Montana, an ode to Cyrus’s famous Disney persona.

He stated, “You’re going to follow in Miley’s footsteps and achieve massive success,” he said. Trace sarcastically pointed out that when her song failed to take off, she ventured into EDM, which also didn’t succeed. Trace continued his criticism of the singer, mocking her recent brief space journey as well.

Perry was among the exclusively female team of Blue Origin, which embarked on a journey orchestrated by Jeff Bezos. For eight minutes, she and her cohorts experienced the thrill of outer space during this groundbreaking voyage, eventually touching back down on our planet.
