Honkai: Star Rail – Trailblazer (Remembrance) build and ascension guide

Discover the full potential of Mem by utilizing the optimal Honkai: Star Rail Trailblazer (Remembrance) setup. As you traverse Amphoreus and garner Aeon Fuli’s attention, the Trailblazer gains the ability to modify their Damage Type and Path to Ice and Remembrance. This additional powerful form transforms the main character into a significant damage booster.

With Trailblazer (Remembrance)’s ability I select you, a sprite named Mem is summoned onto the battlefield. If Mem is already present, this skill revitalizes her and gives her an energy boost known as Charge. Their ultimate move, Unite Mem!, further charges Mem, allowing her to strike all foes with Ice damage and creating another instance of Mem if she isn’t currently on the field.

Mem obtains most of her statistics excluding SPD from Trailblazer and gains Charge whenever allies restore a particular amount of Energy, in addition to gaining Charge through her own actions. If Mem isn’t completely charged, she will automatically employ Baddies! Trouble! on her turn, inflicting Ice damage based on ATK to four opponents before concluding with a slightly less potent attack against all enemies. Moreover, Mem passively enhances the critical damage of all allies according to her own critical damage.

When Charge is completely filled, Memory can act promptly and provide the assistance “Lemme! Help You!” to one friendly character, moving their turn forward. This aid from Memory, called Memory’s Support, lasts for three turns. During this period, any damage dealt by the helped ally will also include an additional instance of true damage, the magnitude depending on the original attack. True damage disregards all buffs and debuffs. This feature is particularly potent with characters having high Energy capacity, as the true damage inflicted through Memory’s Support increases for every 10 Energy capacity beyond 100.

Through gameplay, you can unlock the Eidolons for Trailblazer (Remembrance) to enhance their abilities and Mem’s capabilities even more. Here’s a breakdown of what each Eidolon does:

1. Eidolon 1 provides a Critical Rate boost to the effects of Mem’s Support, specifically benefiting Remembrance characters or their summons. If Mem’s target is a Remembrance character or their summon, both the Memomaster and Memsprite will gain these effects.

2. Eidolon 2 restores Energy for Trailblazer when any of their Memosprites (not Mem herself) take an action.

3. Eidolon 4 allows Mem to accumulate Charge whenever allies without Energy perform an action, and it increases the True Damage multiplier these characters receive if they have Mem’s Support.

4. Lastly, Eidolon 6 sets the Critical Rate of Trailblazer’s Ultimate to 100%.

Honkai: Star Rail – Trailblazer (Remembrance): best Light Cones

Trailblazer (Remembrance), in their main role, acts as a damager booster and supporter, dishing out strong damage with their Ultimate. Luckily, both roles demand high Critical Damage (CRIT DMG) and Attack (ATK). A helpful 4-Star Light Cone called Victory In a Blink can be unlocked through gameplay, which boosts the wearer’s CRIT DMG (benefiting the Memosprite) and increases every ally’s damage when the wearer’s Memosprite activates an ability on another character.

As a gamer of The Remembrance, right now I’m using this Light Cone that leans more towards support. For now, it’s the best option we’ve got. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope that something even more powerful pops up in the future!

Best Light Cones for Trailblazer (Remembrance) in HSR:

  • Victory In a Blink (4-Star)
  • Memory’s Curtain Never Falls (5-Star)
  • Time Woven Into Gold (5-Star)
  • Geniuses’ Greetings (4-Star)
  • Sweat Now, Cry Less (4-Star)

Honkai: Star Rail – Trailblazer (Remembrance): best Relics

The key aspects to consider when enhancing Mem are Critical Damage (CRIT DMG) and Attack (ATK, for offense). Health Points (HP) should not be overlooked as it boosts her durability and reduces the need for frequent resummoning. Speed (SPD) is of lesser importance since Trailblazer’s action initiates at the start of a battle to swiftly summon Mem, although having some SPD will still be beneficial. Lastly, Energy Regeneration is crucial for maintaining Mem’s Charge.

Best Relic Sets for Trailblazer (Remembrance) in HSR:

  • Hero of Triumphant Song (4) – +12% ATK, +6% SPD while the wearer’s Memosprite is on the field, +30% CRIT DMG for both units for two turns when the wearer’s Memosprite attacks.
  • Hunter of Glacial Forest (4) – +10% Ice DMG, +25% CRIT DMG for two turns after using Ultimate.

Best Planar Ornaments for Trailblazer (Remembrance) in HSR:

  • [Support-focused] Lushaka, the Sunken Seas (2) – +5% Energy Regeneration, +12% ATK for the first character in the team line-up, if it’s not the wearer.
  • [Support-focused for Ice] Penacony, Land of the Dreams (2) – +5% Energy Regeneration, +10% DMG for all other allies with the same DMG Type.
  • [DPS-focused] The Wondrous BananAmusement Park (2) – +16% CRIT DMG, +32% CRIT DMG when a target summoned by the wearer is on the field.

Honkai: Star Rail – Trailblazer (Remembrance): best teams

Trailblazer (Remembrance) stands out among its fellow Remembrance characters, yet it holds its own in various other compositions too.

  • The Herta (Main DPS), Herta (Sub DPS), Trailblazer (Remembrance) (Support), Lingsha (Support)

Herta significantly profits from Mem’s assistance, appreciating the progress it facilitates along with its Critical Rate boost. The True Damage (DMG) contribution of Mem is particularly potent for Herta, as her multiple attack instances accumulate True DMG, and her high Energy storage significantly amplifies the True DMG multiplier. This, in turn, quickens Mem’s charge due to Herta’s consistent Energy regeneration (either from Herta herself or other Erudition Sub DPS like Jade or Serval). Additionally, Mem’s attacks and Trailblazer’s Ultimate being area-of-effect abilities aid Herta in stacking Interpretation on enemies, creating a highly synergistic combination.

In simpler terms, Lingsha, Aventurine, or Huohuo can be powerful additions to this mix, as they either boost the impact damage (which increases Energy Regeneration and stacking of Interpretation) or enhance the offensive aspects alongside Energy Regeneration in the overall scheme.

Aglaea and Castorice greatly benefit from Trailblazer’s presence as well.

Honkai: Star Rail – Trailblazer (Remembrance): ascension materials

By the point you receive the Trailblazer’s Remembrance form, it would be ideal if you’ve advanced Trailblazer to the required level. However, if you need help gathering the necessary materials for this form (Destruction), feel free to refer to the Trailblazer guide provided at the beginning of the article. The character level is consistent across all forms.

trailblazer (Remembrance) needs these items to enhance its battle capabilities and trace collection:

The Auspice Sliver is exclusively acquired by confronting the Echo of War (Skysplitter) in combat, whereas the Tracks of Destiny can be obtained during limited-time events, the Embers Exchange, the Nameless Honor, or as rewards for Simulated Universe Points.
