On the April 16th episode of the IMO podcast, the 52-year-old shared with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson that many men her age are deeply ingrained in harmful masculinity and were brought up in an environment where there’s a specific image of what a relationship should be like.
Ross emphasized her disdain for being manipulated, treated as an object, or regarded as a trophy. In simple terms, she expressed that such situations hold no appeal for her and she has no intention of repeating them.
In her past relationships, the actress has found significant differences when dating men of her own age compared to younger ones. What’s more, she desires a partner who embraces and understands concepts like gender fluidity and homosexuality.
