Jennifer Aniston Reveals Having THIS ‘Extreme Fear’ and How She Overcomes It

Jennifer Aniston battles a fear of flying, known as aerophobia, yet this doesn’t hinder her travel arrangements for either work or pleasure. In a recent chat, the actress shared that she relies on breathing exercises and meditation to maintain tranquility while in the air.

For Jennifer Aniston, paradise is found on beaches with powdery white sand and sparkling blue waters. Yet, her apprehension about flying often hinders her from reaching these idyllic destinations. To cope with flight-related anxiety, she once had a pre-boarding custom that involved gently tapping the plane’s exterior with her right hand before stepping onto the aircraft using her right foot. However, through hypnosis treatments, she has been able to relinquish those superstitions and no longer feels compelled to follow the right hand, right foot ritual.

How does the actress cope with her fear of flying, you ask? She shared with Travel + Leisure that she engages in a brief meditation routine both before and during flights to ease her anxieties. Additionally, she performs some stretching exercises to help circulation.

In a more casual and clear manner, one could say: The actress famous for FRIENDS admits to being a chronic over-packer and shared that she’s working on changing this travel behavior. However, the perk of it all is that her friends can borrow items they may have forgotten.

When asked about her preference between a window or an aisle seat, she said she prefers the aisle. Notably, the actress mentioned that Kauai, one of Hawaii’s islands, is among her most cherished travel spots. It’s worth noting that she filmed her 2011 movie Just Go With It on this picturesque island.

Apart from discussing other topics, Jennifer Aniston expressed her wish to visit Japan and the Maldives as her ideal travel destinations.

Despite her fondness for beach vacations, the actress always seizes opportunities for city escapes. Her ideal day off would involve strolling through the streets of Paris or any other charming urban locale, perhaps pausing at outdoor cafes.

In her closing remarks, Aniston emphasized that the essence of travel lies in venturing out and exploring various parts of the globe. She stressed the value of gaining knowledge about diverse cultures, encountering individuals from a multitude of backgrounds, and sampling an array of culinary delights.
